Panic! on the Disco is a pop rock/electronica band founded out of Las Vegas, Nevada. The band is produced from Brendon Urie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and his youth buddy, Spencer Smiths (drums), together with their schoolmate, Ryan Ross (guitar, keyboard, backing vocals).
To promote their music, the band made touch with Pete Wentz (of Fall Out Boy) via his LiveJournal web site. Impressed via the band, Wentz in my opinion met with the band and signed them to his imprint label Decaydance. Under the label, the band launched their debut album, A Fever You Cant Sweat Out, which could debut at #112 on the Billboard 2 hundred album charts.
Featured in Spin mag as their band of the day in early October 2005, attaining #1 at the MySpace chart, and persistently staying in PureVolumes Top 10 chart, might simply support grow the bands reputation. An visual appeal on MTVs TRL on January 17, 2006, at the most fulfilling of their track video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies, also helped garner the band a whole lot publicity.
